Kiwi Nail Lounge first opened its doors in March, 2012 in beautiful Belmont Shore, and is a fun getaway from the regular nail experience, focused on you – pampering you, treating you, making you feel beautiful, and having a party while we do it.  Prepare to be greeted with a warm smile before you choose to relax in one of our leather lounge chairs, or pull up to our nail bar and enjoy a complimentary bottle of water, juice, iced/hot tea or coffee.

Safety and cleanliness are top priority for us. According to the California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology, the safest way to receive a pedicure is through using pipe-less basins. Contamination can build up in the pipes of massage chairs when water circulates in and out, which is why we choose to use pipe-less basins. We use disposable liners after each client, sterilize all of the tools we use, which are kept in sterilized pouches, and we never reuse any files or buffers.

We pride ourselves in our talented technicians. If you have a picture of a custom nail design or something brilliant in mind, bring it in and share it with your nail artist! Clear communication is essential in ensuring your nails come out perfectly, and we guarantee your experience at Kiwi Nail Lounge will be nothing short of amazing!

Why she started Kiwi Nail Lounge
  • Shadden Fouz

  • Shadden graduated from CSU with a Bachelors in Psychology and minor in Business. Like most new graduates, she found it impossible to find a job and battled unemployment for two years, searching for something that would both satisfy her passions and involve her in the community. This dry period challenged her to realize her dreams and take a leap of faith to start a small local business on her own.

    A love for the beauty industry and a keen appreciation of the art of nails lead her to the vision of opening a salon and adding a twist to the concept. A series of bad experiences with other salons left her feeling that Belmont Shore deserved something new and exciting. The cookie cutter nail salon had been done. She wanted something fresh, an experience, a time where you can come in and focus on just you.
